When working properly it is definitely needed in hurling as it's much harder for umpires to see the ball but in football the calls should be easier to make

Go have another read."
No I am not but they are some on here who want no improvements made. The sport has and will change with more technology. If it did not the game would be still played with 25 aside, peaky caps and a black thorn stick while having a smoke.

I have advocated for change since I first posted.
I want a 2nd referee, umpires to be club referees at least, Hawk Eye to be used. But I think Hawk Eye should be checked on the morning of the match and if there isn't a consensus regarding the accuracy, it gets fixed before throw in.

Second ref with TV replays if not on field. Only takes a second.

Exactly. Or a bit like the rugby "ref, I have something to show you and bringing it up on the big screen". It is not that hard.

Hawk eye is as relevant to most gaelic games as sky tv is to others, there is something like 30 counties that most likely will never experience the use of Hawk eye, why persist with a fallible system that is only used in HQ

Logically yes but in 32 County grounds?
